There’s a lot happening on the local scene – as always. Just as we kiss Breadstix Deli goodbye, up springs Zameen Mediterranean Cuisine in its place. I had been keeping my eye on this new spot, waiting for its opening. And it was worth the wait.
The remodeled interior, done by restaurant consultant whiz Mimi Snowden, is stunning. For a café as casual as this (orders are taken at the counter) we are fortunate to dine in such beautifully tiled and decorated surroundings. We can thank Mimi again for putting together a menu of mouthwatering dishes with a Mediterranean/Persian influence. Congratulations to partners Ed Watson and Mike Assar on this lovely spot. Try their Slow-Roasted Lamb and the wonderful Citrus Yogurt Cake.
